Monolithic belt design for hygiene

The fully extruded monolithic belt design of Habasit Cleandrive™ belts is completely free of fabric members that could fray during use and pose a food safety risk. The solid yet flexible belt design is also free of the cavities, joining rods and crevices normally found in hinged belts, making Habasit Cleandrive™ belts very easy to clean.

Premium TPU belt material for food safety

Habasit Cleandrive™ belts are manufactured using premium TPU, which features superior abrasion resistance and hydrolysis resistance, and is inherently resistant to microbiological attack. The belt is designed to withstand the most aggressive cleaning protocols and chemical agents, and to operate in a wide temperature spectrum: from low-temperature freezer in-feeds to high-temperature fryer out-feeds.

Aramid reinforced belt design for performance

Habasit Cleandrive™ is designed with aramid tensile members for continuous dimensional stability. Belt service life is further extended through reliable sprocket engagement and non-slip pulley action, which reduce belt wear, maintenance and downtime. The cords are fully embedded in the thermoplastic material and do not pose any food safety risk.

Easy conveyor construction, installation, and retrofit

Habasit Cleandrive™ belts reduce the amount of design work needed when building a conveyor. Their zero-tension belt design eliminates the need for special active sprocket engagement, which reduces complexity and cost, and extends belt lifetime due to less abrasion.

Scraper friendly

Our proprietary manufacturing process allows us to produce Habasit Cleandrive™ belts with a completely even surface, free of depressions and sink marks. This facilitates a very scraper-friendly solution, as all residual products can be safely removed by a scraper, which maximizes yield, reduces the risk of cross-contamination, and makes the belt easier to clean.

Hygienic design

Hygienic design plays an increasingly important role in food-safe production. Smooth, rounded shapes make it easy to remove foodstuff residues – even on the backside of the belt.

Narrow transfers

Flexible and strong construction allows the smallest possible pulley diameters, thus minimizing product damage and loss in transfer situations.

Food safety

Habasit Cleandrive™ belts meet the currently relevant EU and US food contact regulations and are certified by the Japan Food Research Laboratories (JFRL).
