We often think most about technology when we see its impact on our daily lives. It is easy to recognize smart phones or biotech drugs as examples of products that fit this category, but there are also the types of technical advancements that are imbedded in less flashy products, but which impact our lives in important ways too.
Habasit was founded on the principal that technology can be used to improve belting products in significant ways. Technical advancement was never the goal, but a necessary means to helping our customers achieve the best results possible for the products they make and the things they move. This is why we have continued to invest so heavily in research and development.
Our dedication to innovation over decades has resulted in belting products that resist contaminants better, fray less, break less, stay cleaner longer, run quieter and run longer – benefits that make a real difference in the daily operations of the customers who use Habasit products.
In this issue of Highlights we cover many interesting topics, and our underlying technology is rarely mentioned. But it is worth noting that without our strong focus on technology and innovation, many of the stories contained herein could not be written.
Highlights is published three times a year in English, German, Italian, Spanish, French, Russian, Polish, Turkish, Dutch, Chinese and Japanese.
